Primordial

One field separates into two materials whose proportions drift across the square. The two interlock as a hatched labyrinth where the mixture is balanced; elsewhere they pinch into stippled beads in a combed matrix. Three colour territories cross it, one large, one lesser, one small, the largest spanning its own dark to its own light. Every stroke follows the grain the separation left; the brightest inks fall where boundaries crowd closest.
