Persistence

Fifteen passes of one sweep crossed this ground on nearly the same diagonal, and the strata were laid square across it, so the count is read slab by slab rather than along a seam. A cell reached once holds a single orange bar, a cell reached a few times holds ruling, and the cells every pass reached are solid red under a black axis. At the band's edges the older blue arcs surface at full weight.
